720 total yards DK weight yarn
US 7 set of dpns, or 2 circs, or 1 circular 40" or longer.; US 7 24" circular needle; US 8 24" circular needle; 3 st markers, 2 alike and 1 different; Tapestry needle; blocking pins; Shawl pin (optional)
Gauge: 20 sts and 26 rows = 4" with smaller needles
One long hairpin lace strip is joined to tiself to create a dramatic stole reminiscent of smoke wisps or celestial formations. Vapor requires only beginning crochet and hairpin lace skills.
