White Lies Designs
These pretty Victorian-inspired stockings are a lovely way to show off a well-turned ankle.
Knitted in our hand-dyed wool, they feature a fitted calf and are worked from the toe up for easy try-ons.
Though the stockings are thigh high, (22" from floor to the Zig-Zag Lace), the knitter can stop anywhere along the way, add the ribbing, and be done.
| Yarn: approx. 500yds DK weight, stretchy yarn. We recommend Cascade Fixation Yarn (98.3% Cotton, 1.7 % Elastic, 186 yards (Stretched), 100 yards (Relaxed) / 50 grams)
Needles: one set of 4 double pointed needles, US 3 (3.25mm) or size to obtain gauge
