Gardiner Yarnworks
Named after the Japanese word for "stripes", this toddler sweater is worked in the round from the bottom up with mix-and-match sleeve and patterning options that include detailed instructions for getting those sleeve stripes to line up.

Materials
Yarn: fingering-weight yarn, approx 575 (625) yds for long sleeves or 500 (550) yds for short sleeves
Sizes Sized for 2T (4T) Chest: 25 (26.5)" Length: 13 (14)"
Needles: 16-36" size 3 (3.25mm) circular needle or size to obtain gauge (use longer needle only if using Magic Loop method)
• set of 5 size 3 (3.25mm) double-pointed needles or set of 2 size 3 (3.25mm) circular ndis if not using Magic Loop method
Other Needs: stitch holders/waste yarn
• yarn needle
• stitch markers
• crochet hook and waste yarn for provisional CO
• sharp scissors, sharp needle and sewing/reinforcement thread in complimentary color (matchy-matchy version only)

Samples use Malabrigo Sock in Lettuce (semi-solid green version) and Noro Silk Garden Sock in color #84 (striped version).

Gauge 24 sts/40 rows = 4" in st st
