Shrug Your Shoulders

Sizes: Small and large.
This shrug will fit a wide range of body sizes. The main rectangle fits loosely across the back and the ribbing forms the collar, front and lower back.

Yarn Requirements:
690 (850) yards (631 (777) meters) of heavy worsted weight yarn that will give a soft fabric when knit to the gauge given.

Needles:
A 16" (40cm) and a 24" (60cm) circular in US size 9 (5.5mm).
Crochet hook in US size I (5.5mm).
A spare circular needle in a smaller size and one size 10.5 (6.5mm) needle for the cast off.

Gauge:
16 stitches = 4" (10cm) in stockinette stitch.
